Kort intervju:
Where do you live and what do you do for a living at the moment?
I live with my family in Corpataux, it’s a small village located in the French speaking part of Switzerland. I am currently in the gymnasium as an elite sportsman until July 2022.
Why did you choose SNO and what are you looking forward to the most in the club?
I chose SNO according to various established criteria. Firstly, I wanted a club located in Sweden to learn about Swedish culture and accessible fairly easily by transport (flight/train) so that I could come and do training courses in the area. In addition, I was looking for a club with good elite runners so that I could progress on the Nordic terrain. Finally, I would like to be able to join the SNO team to take part in the big relays 😊
What are your goals for 2021?
My goals for 2021 as a young elite runner would be to qualify for a world cup stage (Switzerland, Sweden or Italy). In addition, I would like to be able to participate in the Tiomila and Jukola with SNO!
How is your training going during these Corona-times?
During the pandemic, I never had a drop in motivation but I took advantage of being able to continue to train well so that I could be ready as soon as I got back from the competitions.
Which leg do you think would suit you at Tiomila?
Good question. I am ready to take any leg but I think I'm attracted to the first one. Otherwise I would say an short/medium relay because I am still "young".
I look forward to meeting all of you soon I hope!
Beroende på omvärldsläget kanske vi får möjligheten att se Jonas (och Tino) i Södertälje redan i mars. Oavsett, välkommen till SNO, Jonas!
